Crown Talks Colour

Our Newbury Park decorating centre recently hosted our first ever Colour Workshop event, which gave interior designers and homeowners alike the chance to learn more about colour and the best ways to use it around the home.

 

Visitors to the store on the day had the opportunity to speak to our expert colour consultant, Kathryn Lloyd, who was on hand to advise on the latest trends as well as how to use colour with confidence and pick the most suitable shades for any room in their home.

 

The event saw visitors and staff gain a better understanding design trends, the nature of colour and the science behind it, and colour matching. The information was presented interactively through various activities including the use of a colour wheel, giving everyone the chance to see it come to life.

 

Customers who participated in the event all took home a free mood board, goody bag and three tester pots so that they could try out their colourful new interior design schemes at home.

 

Our first Colour Workshop event was a huge success, with great feedback from both customers and store staff who all enjoyed the event. We’re looking forward to hosting similar events across our network of decorating centres in the future.
